Snow Daze!

This morning we looked out the window and could not believe how much it had snowed. So Triston and Elvis and I decided we would take advantage of the snow,for who knows if this will be our last snow storm. So we got dressed and heading out the door for some old fashioned snow play. Triston loved it at first until he fell face down in a foot of snow. After that he was a good sport but was pretty much done with the whole playing out in the snow bit. Really we wern't prepared for the snow, I didnt have any gloves so I couldnt teach him how to build a snow man. Triston didn't have any snowboots so I had to fashion him some homeade ones like we always had as kids, for example taking grocery bags over our socks and then putting on some everyday shoes. They wern't stylish by any means but they kept our feet from getting wet. However little Squish had a really good attitude about the whole thing. Thank goodness beacause I wasn't very jazzed about going into town on a day like this. All in all it was a beautiful day and we are so blessed to be getting all the this wonderful moisture, even if our house continues to be a mud pit. We will just have to wait for spring to put in our driveways and just enjoy all the beautiful moisture.
